Wormjava, LLC
Vision Statement

To be an ecologically minded business, seeking to reconnect humans to cyclical thinking through the sale of earthworm castings: a beneficial soil builder resulting from the waste to food cycle.

Wormjava, LLC
Mission Statement

Wormjava seeks to integrate ecological concepts through the cultivation, packaging, marketing, and sale of liquid earthworm castings, rental of worm bins for local events, and home vermicomposting consultation.

Approximately 10% of the earth’s land is arable. Industrial development and pollution continue to compromise the health of our soils, most directly through chemical fertilizers and pesticides. As human populations continue to rise, the desire for arable land increases, and the amount of landfill and incinerator space decreases. Food waste comprises roughly 30% of the total solid waste stream. With these two challenges in mind, Wormjava provides liquid worm castings, which serve as a naturally occurring, organic soil builder and are produced, in part, by diverting food waste from landfills or incinerators and back into beneficial and natural cycles. Wormjava also seeks to increase vermicomposting through home vermicomposting consultation services and through the rental of Wormjava bins for local events.

Specifically, home, community, and commercial gardeners and farmers will benefit from the use of Wormjava, but ultimately the entire world community will reap the benefits of more cyclical thinking and ecologically minded decisions.

Wormjava is guided by valuing the balanced ebb and flow of all life interconnections. Wormjava is both a teacher and learner of ecological principles and will grow along side its clients and community. Wormjava hopes to be viewed as an engaging and contributing member of the world ecosystem, not in simply sustaining it, but helping it to flourish. Wormjava seeks to be better, not bigger, so growing and learning with the client is key in achieving this goal.
